Ten Ideas for Holiday Decorating

Offer a warm welcome to visitors.
In December, the spirit of giving sings from within as we open our homes to neighbors and longtime friends. Add cheer to an entry with a feathery evergreen garland punctuated by bright-red nandina berries, green apples, oranges, and yaupon holly gathered in the center. Open the door to reveal a stunning composition that showcases gleanings from orchards and greenhouses.

  2. If you live in a small home or apartment, you may struggle to decorate for the holidays. After all, you don’t want your living room to look cluttered. But on the other hand, you don’t want it to look as if you don’t have any holiday spirit. Right? Of course not! The key to decorating is to choose a few key pieces and use them wisely. I love the bustle and celebration and believe that the all-important holiday spirit starts in a well-furnished home. Every year brings a new opportunity for interesting holiday decorating ideas.
