How to Make Pastel Painted Eggs

A gentle wind lifts the upstairs curtains once again, and violets return to the boxes beneath the south-facing windows. Wash billows on the clothesline, and white petals fall from the plum tree when stirred by the slightest breeze. Bright April days bring the ironing of floral tablecloths and the wearing of Sunday-best attire. Their midmornings are filled with pastel painted eggs and tiny nests, painted blooms and yellow gingham.
