  1. There is nothing more pleasing than the victory of finding the perfect item at an antique shop, flea market, or even a yard sale. The days of a bygone era were full of life’s simplicity, but often made with an intricacy and complexity of design and craftsmanship. “They just don’t make things like this anymore” – a commonly heard statement – but factual none-the-less !

    Over the many years, I have learned to truly value and appreciate the lovely items that were made for a different time.

    Today, I am grateful to have myself surrounded by lovely items that have a longer life than me ! If only these items could talk !
