Berries and Cream

This fresh and fragrant Berries and Cream delight mixes strawberries and raspberries with whipping cream spiked with raspberry liqueur.

Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ⅓ cup raspberry liqueur, divided
  • ¼ cup sugar, divided
  • 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries
  • Garnish: fresh mint, fresh strawberries, and fresh raspberries
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine cream, 2 tablespoons liqueur, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Using a mixer at high speed, beat until medium peaks form; set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine strawberries, remaining 3 tablespoons liqueur, and remaining 2 tablespoons sugar. Let mixture sit for at least 15 minutes. Divide mixture among 4 dessert glasses. Top each with about ½ cup cream mixture. Garnish with mint, strawberries, and raspberries, if desired. Serve immediately.

  1. Wow ! What a coincidence !! I just made a similar recipe yesterday as I was craving strawberries and cream!

    I will have to try this specific recipe and see how it compares with mine. The major difference is that rather than using a liquor, I use Torani’s raspberry syrup and I am very happy with this. I do have some Chambord and will try this as a replacement!

  2. This is so simple yet tastes incredible! The Chambord-scented cream augments the berry flavors so perfectly. I did mine with blackberries and raspberries since that was all I had at hand and it was divine. Thank you for publishing.
