Sue infuses her personal vision into every nuance of her home. “When we built this house more than a decade ago, we really wanted it to be traditional yet casual enough for people to feel comfortable,” she explains. “My husband and I both inherited a lot of antiques from our families, so we wanted to work with these time-honored pieces that were passed down to us.”
Throughout her home, Sue’s deliberate neutral palette blends with the Tennessee landscape and the refined, traditional style of her interiors. The patterned towels from her collection follow suit with subtle stripes, and delicate, muted shades.
