The business came about after Ajiri, who loved to explore Paris’s flea and antiques markets, conversed with a friend about turning her passions into a career. An idea sparked and quickly grew into the flame of an enterprise over the span of a few short months. She chose the brand’s name, partially inspired by her childhood nickname, and set to work on the many other tasks required to launch a company. Luckily, the various realms of experience from earlier in her work life each played a part in equipping her for the different tasks she now performs as an entrepreneur.
