Step into The Culinary Cottage

Culinary Cottage

Drawing on years of experience preparing meals for celebrities, dignitaries, and monarchs—including a private dinner for HM Queen Elizabeth II—Penny Lewis has returned home to Abergavenny, Wales, to establish The Culinary Cottage.

Throughout her travels across Europe, the chef noticed that clients would often gravitate toward the kitchen, where they were fascinated to watch her work. In her latest venture, Penny passes along many of the recipes and techniques that have built her professional reputation. Amid views of the majestic Black Mountains, she teaches classes within the welcoming environs of her own nineteenth-century house. A variety of courses—from two-hour beginner workshops for children to weeklong intensives for advanced culinarians—allow students of all skill levels to deepen their understanding and enjoyment of cooking.
