Thank you for the wonderful September 2016 issue. Everything in it spoke to something cherished in my life and in the lives of my family members. My husband and I stayed in Bibury, a Cotswold village on our first trip to England, many years ago, so similar to the charming villages depicted in your article. And wouldn’t you know, I long ago had posted a picture of Dylan Thomas’s study in my own writing shed, as a reminder that art may emerge from chaos. Victoria Magazine just keeps getting better. I look forward to reading and leafing through this issue many, many times.
I just received my Sept issue of Victoria. I impatiently wait for your magazine every other month and thoroughly enjoy each one. However. I can’t recall an issue I’ve enjoyed as much as this one. I have always wanted to visit England and Wales. After reading about these wonderful places,. I am ready to see my travel agent and book a tour. Thank you so much for this beautiful issue of Victoria.
I just received the September British issue and what a pleasant surprise ! Our son and daughter in law were married in the Cotswolds at the magnificient Sudeley Castle last August 31st! They receive your magazine also and it was truly a gift to open the pages as their first anniversary approaches! Visting that little corner of the world is truly the most beautiful place I have ever visited. Thank you for this lovely issue!
What a lovely surprise to find this new issue in my postbox ! This September issue is by far one of my very favourites! Every article and photo spread are spectacular and I found myself lost in this issue for quite some time.
It’s impossible to choose my favourite article, but I must say that the spread on British picnics was the one most memorable as I LOVE traditional English picnics with proper wicker baskets, sterling utensils, and a lovely china tea set to finish off a lovely day. Couple that with proper English food and a tartan wool blanket and you have the makings of a spectacular event! I am already planning a picnic to enjoy with family and friends soon!
Thank you and well done Victoria staff and writers for making this issue so special.
This is a beautiful issue of Victoria, but please be cautious if you try to make the Roast Beef and Ham Sandwich. The grilled vegetables may make your sandwich soggy while it chills in the refrigerator.. Perhaps it would be better NOT to chill it..
