Reclaiming Bygone Grace

Reclaiming Bygone Grace

The interiors Jamie had seen in Italy inspired the soft neutral palette she has used throughout her own spaces. “I love the way the plaster walls, mouldings, and ceilings were all painted the same color there,” she explains. I chose to do that in most rooms of this house, which shows off the architecture so beautifully—and it allows the patina of the antiques to show.” As an avid collector, she has acquired a wonderful mélange of time-brushed pieces, from English and French furniture to creamware, majolica, tapestry fragments, and more.
