Ann Ellway and her late husband, Peter, always dreamed of moving to the countryside, where they could keep horses, sheep, and other assorted animals, and where he could indulge his hobbies, which included building and restoring cars, bikes, and racing dinghies. When the couple discovered this aging Georgian farmhouse in need of modernization, they were willing to overlook some obvious flaws, as it was set amid 6 idyllic acres in Yorkshire, England.
