When summer reaches an end and the first crisp gusts of air billow over the landscape, nature’s vibrant autumn palette inspires fashion and décor. An infusion of cozy plaid accents in all the hues of a blazing bonfire find their way into the burnished wool throw draped across a chair, the elegant lengths of ribbon tied into bows on a wreath, and the classic tartan of a graceful coat. Wrap yourself in the warmth of this timeless, genteel pattern and rejoice in the elegant splendor of the season.

In the Autumn and Holiday seasons I tend to decorate even more with tartan fabrics and household items. I love them all year ’round and more than once I have had friends come over and tell me my cottage looks like Scotland at a Ralph Lauren convention. Yes, I had to laugh as well.
Like a sting of pearls, a camel hair coat, and Chanel No.5, the classic and timeless use of tartan/plaid around your home or on your person is always beautiful and elegant !
God bless !
