A baker since her youth, Gwendolyn opened the shop after her home-based catering business outgrew her family’s refrigerator. She discovered a chalet in the cultural district of Broad Ripple Village, spent two years remodeling it to perfection, and opened its doors in 2014. Since then, the brand has expanded to a second location, a partnership with Lenox, and a collaboration with Williams-Sonoma to sell the shop’s famous confections online.
