Gardens of Paris
Known as Parc de Bagatelle, these grounds evolved over time, as styles and owners changed, before the City of Paris purchased the estate in 1905. The renovation of the gardens was placed in the capable hands of curator Jean-Claude-Nicolas Forestier, who revitalized the park with a plan that blended established paintings with new additions, including the signature roses that are the hallmark of the park.
