Charlottesville Gardens Something magical happens in Charlottesville, Virginia, during eight days in the spring, when visitors tour two hundred private gardens and the grounds of sprawling estates.
I am delighted to have received my subscriber copy in yesterday’s post. I stayed up until after 2 AM reading through the issue! BEAUTIFUL !!
For those of us who experience the cold temps, snow, ice, and the bitterly cold winds of Winter will certainly appreciate this timely issue! The bright colours of the magazine cover brings cheer to those of us still knee-deep in the white stuff ….
My favourite article centers around outside entertaining and the full colour spectrum of tablecloths, china, and floral arrangements! I really can’t wait to get outdoors and enjoy the warmth and growth of the garden!
The article about David Austin’s roses was so wonderful too – sadly, I have never been very successful with roses and have developed a sort of ‘fear’ of them now… lovely to look at but difficult for me to grow with my soil. Ahhh, to dream of his gorgeous blooms in my garden is a beautiful fantasy indeed !
Thank you Victoria for yet another smashing issue full of Springtime cheer and hope for those of us still waiting for the snow and ice to melt! A very well thought-out issue which covers a multitude of topics all within a beautiful issue!
