Creating Joy in the City of Light

Jackie furnished her newly acquired gem with a mix of old and new, scouring the listings for Leboncoin—the Parisian equivalent of Craigslist—as well as purchasing some items from local stores. “I went to a lot of flea markets and attic sales,” she says, “but I also bought a lot of things on my travels. I only included things that made me feel inspired or comfortable or happy or relaxed.” The result is a welcoming sanctuary, filled with sunlight and radiating charm. Christened APT Lafayette Paris, Jackie splits her time equally between here and Canada, sharing her beloved bijou as a luxury rental when she’s not in residence.
