Since gathering around the table with family and friends had always been central to Jackie’s life, the idea of opening an eatery felt like the natural next move. Upon returning to Vancouver after her journeys, she launched the lyrically named Beaucoup Bakery & Café, which was an immediate success. Trips back to Paris for staff-training sessions evolved into a hobby-turned-business of arranging tours of the city’s best pâtisseries.
