Coming into Bloom

Coming into Bloom

“From that point on, it was just trial and error,” relates Linda, who calls herself “a graduate of the Oklahoma School of Heartache and Hard Knocks.” She discovered, just because something works one year, that doesn’t mean it will work the next. But she was a quick study, and her garden soon grew and blossomed into a mesmeric attraction, drawing curious—and envious—onlookers, especially in early spring when more than eight hundred tulips turn her front yard into an extravaganza of color.
