The Blantyre Estate: A Regal Retreat

The Blantyre Estate

Filled with antique treasures and prized heirlooms featuring an array of intricate floral patterns, the Blantyre’s Main House, twelve-room Carriage House, and four private cottages entice visitors to leisurely enjoy the romantic ambience of nineteenth-century England. Victorian-inspired wallpaper covers the walls of the luxurious Crimson Suite bathroom. The elaborate floral design is carried throughout the house in the empire sofa pillows displayed in the Music Room.

The Blantyre Estate

The Music Room is a comfortable gathering place furnished with overstuffed chairs, lush damasks, silks, and Oriental rugs. Guests can enjoy tea served in fine china or indulge in a glass of wine before dinner while relaxing in front of the stately fireplace. Each night, the Blantyre’s Main House becomes the setting for a delightful formal dining experience, complete with fresh flowers, sterling silver, and crystal. Fine linens and china, such as this nineteenth-century Spode dinner plate, provide finishing touches to the dinner table. A pianist entertains guests as they sip champagne and sample the chef ’s famous canapés.
