Left: These grape hyacinths thrive in a bright, cool spot. Once cut, hyacinth stems should soak for at least twelve hours before being arranged with other blooms. Right: Hardy selections ideal for sprouting in this manner include daffodils, hyacinths, lilies of the valley, and grape hyacinths.
