Artistry for the Ages

The first pattern produced by Müller and his team was Blue Fluted Plain, called Musselmalet in Danish. It features a stylized chrysanthemum and cinquefoil motif, reminiscent of traditional Chinese designs and hand-painted in a distinctive cobalt blue. Although the embellishment has been adjusted slightly through the years, its essence—and its following—endures to this day.
