A Renaissance NoelWith noted golf artist Loyal Chapman as her father and a mother who introduced her to the joys of antiquing, Jennifer was destined to be an aesthete. Her family had an in-home studio where they all worked in their commercial-art business, and the precocious painter created her first mural—for the local roller rink—at the age of fifteen. While at college, she often retreated to the adjacent museum, where she spent endless hours poring over the paintings of the Old Masters, admiring the layering techniques and luminous quality of their works.
