A sustainable gardener in every sense, Sharon landscapes economically by splitting up plants, spreading things out, and digging up beds throughout the year. “If a plant is unhappy,” she jokes, “I get it to a better spot. And I talk to people around me who are growing successfully. I don’t have to get it all done at one time.”
Accented with twin antique sleigh beds and shuttered windows against hues of creamy ivory, the guest room makes a quiet garden sanctuary of sorts with peaceful outdoor views echoed by artful botanical prints hanging on the walls.
