Alison discovered a passion for working with clay during a throwing class in high school, but the idea that this talent could become her profession dawned when her family moved to London. “The window displays at Harrods were always over-the-top, gorgeous, and constantly changing,” she says. “I remember seeing beautiful vessels, and a light bulb went off.”
