From their studio on New York’s scenic Shelter Island in the Hamptons, Dee and Brion Moorhead create lustrous flatware and accessories for their Bijoux de la Mer collection.

The Moorheads’ refined table-art designs emulate the arabesque swirls of art nouveau style and radiate the distinctive glow of a well-worn antique patina. Handcrafted in gleaming pewter and the finest Italian stainless steel, their luxe offerings from Bijoux de la Mer include such themed motifs as The Orchid, The Mermaid, and The Fish. The collections are complemented with accessories—candlesticks, napkin rings, salt-and-pepper cellars, and place-card holders—to bejewel any dining venue with elements of fantasy and fine craftsmanship. Inspired by a love of nature and the nearby Atlantic Ocean that surrounds their home and studio, the couple’s one-of-a-kind pieces, as well as special custom orders, are meticulously produced in a Rhode Island foundry.
