Isn’t It Romantic?

Experience the softer side of Valentine’s Day with the alluring absence of red. Unmistakably graceful and richly inviting, two sentimental tablescapes capture the essence of classic romance. A pastel palette blushing with pink table linens and pink roses speaks with a certain reserve that vibrant red cannot master. Sumptuous armchairs at fireside and a carafe of buttery Chardonnay will ensure a warm respite for your romantic party of two. And for absolute elegance, embrace the sheer beauty of neutrals with a crisp, all-white palette. Delicate table linens, white bone china, sparkling crystal, and shimmering silverware always signal a special occasion and offer the perfect ambience for food, wine, and conversation.

Although the red and white for Valentine's is beautiful, I have on ocasion chosen rose coloured theme, with lots of other roses. It makes for an even more romantic adventure. I also place some china birds on the table that match the colours of my setting. A tall silver glass with a pomander of roses on top set in the centre of the table makes also a different kind of topiary that can change according to your chosen theme.
