Your article prompted my husband and me to revisit The Mount in August. It was thrilling to see the improvements that have been made since our first visit in 1998. We also enjoyed a theatrical production of Mrs Wharton's short story, "Xingu," which was held in the drawing room of The Mount, and a jazz quartet performance on the terrace. Please keep featuring this gorgeous estate in the pages of Victoria magazine!

I loved the pictures for this feature, especially the one of the library area with the book shelf, desk and patio type door. I could just picture myself there! Loved it!

I enjoyed The brief feature on Edith Wharton's The Mount - however, I would have appreciated more pictures and notes on the pictures plus more text. Such a beautiful place deserved more coverage. Lorraine Bollman
